Long time, no write; but plenty of reading.

Been a while since my last update, but then again, I'm not the most dynamic and interesting of people and therefore have nothing much to say.

Not done much, except go to work and sit around at home. And there's nothing to watch on the TV, because of the bloody World Cup, no thanks.

Walter Moers is a great German writer. He writes novels that are akin to childrens books, especially as he also illustrates them. "The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear" is fantastic and I'm, still reading "The City of Dreaming Books", which I'm loving.

"Three Men in a Boat" by Jerome K. Jerome, is insanely funny and really should be on your reading list. The K stands for Klapka, poor bloke.

The only interesting thing of note that happened to me was: I saw actor/comedian Dylan Moran walking down the street, random. I didn't believe my eyes at first, but when I checked the theatre listing and found he was playing the theatre the day before: it was him!

I tried to impress the guys at work with this information:
Me: Guess which famous person I saw walking along?
Colleague 1: A reality TV star?
Me: No.
Colleague 2: A man?
Me: Yes.
Colleague 1: An actor?
Me: Yes.
Colleague1: (on a roll now) A soap star?
Me: No.
Colleague 2: Which channel has he been on?
Me: C4.
Colleague 2: I wouldn't know him then.
Colleague 1: Who is it then?
Me: Dylan Moran.
Puzzled silence.
Colleague 1: Who?
Me: Nevermind.
Oh well, I was pleased anyhow.
